Does AIAdopt use cookies?
Only cookies and browser storage that are necessary for the site to work, such as to stay logged in. We do not use cookies for statistics, advertising or to track you. Cloudflare, our hosting provider, may also place a technically necessary cookie during an ordinary visit for the security of the site.
Web analytics without cookies
AIAdopt uses Pirsch Analytics for visitor statistics. Pirsch places no cookies. To count visits without following people, Pirsch calculates a hash from your IP address, your user agent, the date and a salt that differs per website. The IP address itself is not stored. A visitor can therefore be recognised for at most 24 hours, and never from one website to another. Pirsch is a German service and processes and stores the data within the European Union.
For visitors from outside the European Union, Cloudflare Web Analytics may measure visits, page views and load times without cookies. For visitors from the European Union, the site does not place that script.

In addition, the site stores a few pieces of data in your browser itself: the language of the learning portal and which lessons you completed (until you clear them in your browser) and, on the way to the order form, the composition from the quote configurator (until you close the tab). That data stays on your own device.
These cookies and data are necessary for the site to work, are not used for tracking or advertising, and fall under the exception of Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive. No consent is required for them.
Third-party cookies
AIAdopt places no marketing, advertising or tracking cookies. We use no Google Analytics, no Facebook Pixel, no retargeting and no other advertising technologies.
Cloudflare, our hosting provider, may place technically necessary cookies for security, for example against attacks and against misuse of forms (Turnstile). These cookies are not managed by AIAdopt and are not used for advertising.
Cookie banner
Because AIAdopt only uses cookies and browser storage that are necessary for the site to work, a cookie banner with prior consent is not required. Should this change, we will adjust this policy and the website accordingly.
